A&R Pick of the Week: Dark-pop newcomer iiola shares new single "sickly sweet"
After a childhood of illegal acid house raves hosted by her parents and rebelling from school at 16, Shannon Saunders has used her unique experiences to shape what she calls an ever-developing "dark-pop" sound.
Soon after moving to London, Shannon began collaborating with artists such as Wilkinson, Sonny Fodera and Mash'd N Kutcher. Under her new alias iiola, she kicked things off with her debut single "don't shut me up", which has picked up over 359K streams to date.
