Textural pop newcomer Spazz Cardigan is our A&R Pick of the Week.
After releasing his debut project in January 2017, things seem to be kicking off for Spazz Cardigan, as he shares his new single "Over". The Louisville natives says his "imaginative, textural pop" has stemmed from key musical influences including Queen, Kanye West, David Bowie and Sun Ra.
Despite having been officially active for just over a year, Spazz Cardigan has been gigging since the age of ten, and acquired his production skills through Hip-Hop collective "The Diatribe" after moving to Nashville last year to pursue music full-time.
Cardigan has enjoyed significant backing from Spotify's editorial team on his 2018 releases. With features on a number of influential playlists including New Music Friday and Young & Free, he's currently got over 4.7 million playlist followers, following a huge increase of 3.6 million in the past 7 days (Instrumental Music Scouting Platform).
