David Beckham and his fashion label, Kent & Curwen, have just unveiled their new clothing line, in collaboration with the legendary Stone Roses.
Whilst this collaboration was officially announced last year, today we can actually take a look at these fresh threads via the Kent & Curwen website...
The collection pays apt homage to the quintessential elements of Mod culture, complete with a bowler hat and an oversized parka jacket, perfect for those rainy Saturday afternoons spent rolling through the Mancunian backstreets. Take a sneak peak at the full collection here:
However, don’t expect to be seen donning your latest Stones garms at one of their shows anytime soon. Sadly, this announcement comes with no signs of a reunion after the band last split back in 2017. That said, if you’ve got a spare £700+ to drop on a new Parka, you might be able to wear it down to an Ian Brown gig, considering that he recently released his latest solo album ‘Ripples’. Although, at that price, you wouldn’t want to spill a pint on it would you?
What do you reckon? Have Becks and the Stones smashed this one into the top bins? Or, does the hefty price tag make this a bit more of a Kieran Trippier own goal? Let us know in the comments on our Instagram @frty.fve
