Camila Cabello has claimed another huge record, adding to her long list of chart successes.
Cabello’s debut solo album ‘Camila’ recently topped Billboard’s Adult Pop Songs chart, adding to its seven-week stint at the summit of the Pop Songs chart and three-week lead on the Rhythmic Songs chart. This makes the 20-year-old Cuban-American singer-songwriter the first female artist to reach the top of all three charts in 22 years. Mariah Carey was the last female artist to win the accolade, with “One Sweet Day”, her 1995 ballad with Boyz II Men.
The former Fifth Harmony star recently became the first artist in 15 years to top both the Hot 100 and 200 Billboard charts at the same time with her self-titled solo debut and ‘Havana’ in late January. This record was last held by Beyonce, who won the record with the release of “Crazy In Love” and “Dangerously In Love” in 2003.
She is also the fourth most listened to artist on Spotify this month, with ‘Havana’ currently sat on over 713m streams and her playlist following exceeding 168m. Cabello is currently enjoying a Spotify score of 93/100, suggesting that she has got a very exciting year ahead.
