Foo Fighters, The 1975, Post Malone and Twenty One Pilots on headline duty at Reading & Leeds 2019
Reading & Leeds is the ritual post-GCSE or pre-University blowout, but always a good place to find some new music to get along with. Next year's festival takes place from August 23-25, returning to Richfield Avenue (Reading) and Bramham Park (Leeds).
Making a huge return to the Main Stage, Foo Fighters will follow sold-out arena shows in the UK with a three-hour monster set. Grammy winners Twenty One Pilots take up the second headline spot, with Tyler and Josh making an appearance at the festival fresh off the back of their global Bandito tour. They will share this co-headline spot with American hip-hop star Post Malone, who pulled two of the biggest crowds at last year's Reading & Leeds. Finally, making their Main Stage headline debut, The 1975 are set to share their fast-growing catalogue of hits to R&L, including tracks from their new album, ‘A Brief Inquiry into Online Relationships’, which is out this month.
In addition to the four headliners, a number of other acts have also been announced, including Bastille, Pale Waves, Billie Eilish, Juice WRLD and Yungblud. Also in the first wave announcement are The Distillers, The Amazons, Billie Eilish, Blossoms, Bowling For Soup, Camelphat, Crucast, Denis Sulta, G Flip Hayley Kiyoko, J, NOT3S, PVRIS, Stefflon Don and Sundara Karma.
