Florence + The Machine have smashed the all-time record for most Shazam’s in 24 hours

The power of Arya Stark hit again as Florence + The Machine’s ‘Jenny of Oldstones’ appeared over the end credits in a Game Of Thrones episode last week.

In the 24 hours following its play, the track was subsequently Shazamed more than 300k+ times, breaking the apps all-time record. The scene saw character Podrick sing ‘Jenny of Oldstones’ to Brienne, Tyrion, Davos and Tormund during a drinking session ahead of the battle against the White Walkers.

The track has beaten Adele’s ‘Hello’ which was Shazamed by intrigued fans more than 200K+ times in the 24 hours following its 2015 release. The episodes live viewing totalled a whopping 10.29 million viewers, leading to the Florence track hitting 11.6m+ views on YouTube (02/05/19).
