Spotify and Google Maps are about to make your commute a whole lot easier

Spotify has announced its integration with Google Maps

On Monday, Spotify announced their integration with Google Maps. The new update will mean users can control music using playback controls within the Maps application. Prior to this, users have had to flick between apps to navigate and skip tracks. Following a successful union with Waze in 2017, helping users can ‘jam through the traffic jam’, Spotify aims to harmonise music and travel even further.

With navigation standing as the most commonly used non-music app in the car, this partnership makes a lot of sense for both parties. It's a thumbs up from us!
