According to a new post on Spotify’s community page, the streaming giant is developing a Bluetooth safety mode, which will activate a simplified UI to minimise distractions on the road.

On Spotify's community page, a user explained that Spotify is currently running a test which is affecting 3% of accounts. At present, those accounts are experiencing the new UI whenever they connect to Bluetooth. However, it is expected that Spotify will introduce a toggle or further technology to activate the mode when users are driving.
