The 1975 are set to release "Give Yourself A Try", the first single from their forthcoming third studio album.

The 1975 have spent the majority of the last year working on their third record and follow up to ‘I Like It When You Sleep, for You Are So Beautiful yet So Unaware of It’ (ILIWYS). The band have previously announced that the record will share the name of their 2013 EP, ‘Music For Cars’, which was name after their love for Brian Eno.

Having told fans that tour news would follow in the summer, the Manchester quartet’s manager Jamie Oborne recently revealed that the band will tour the UK with the release of their next album. Answering fans questions on Twitter, he announced that there would be “...no surprises” and “[the] next show will be a fully planned spectacle”.

Teasing fans with a piano soundtracked 15 second video on their social media channels, it has been announced that Matty, George, Ross and Adam will join Annie Mac on BBC Radio 1 from 7pm on Thursday. Strategically shared ahead of New Music Friday, "Give Yourself A Try" will be her Hottest Record In The World.
