Laura Lee and Andreya Casablanca of Gurr are one of Berlin’s most exciting garage pop exports. The duo have recently beaten the likes of The XX, King Krule and Laura Marling, to win the IMPALA European Album of the Year Award, with their debut album ‘In My Head’. Returning with a jangly indie banger, Gurr have shared ‘Hot Summer’. Contrary to expectations, the fierce garage-pop track was written on a grey day in London.
