LA surf rockers La Luz have returned with the third single taken from their forthcoming album, ahead of a huge string of tour dates and festival appearances. Initially formed in 2012 by vocalist Shana Cleveland, the band enjoyed early success with their DIY, low-budget recordings.

The all-female quartet are set to release their third album, ‘Floating Features’ on May 11th, their new single ‘The Creature’ teases the effortless, dreamy and summery surf rock sound expected from the release.

The 11-track Floating Features was recorded in Los Angeles and follows their previous LPs, 2015’s Ty Segall-produced 'Weirdo Shrine' and their 2013 debut 'It’s Alive'. Following the release of 'The Creature', the band have enjoyed a 700% increase in total playlist followers to over 4.1 million in the past seven days (TalentAI).
