Glassio cite Talking Heads, Christine & the Queens and UK Garage as the inspiration behind their new single, 'Back for More'.

Glassio are an indie-pop duo based in New York City, comprised of Persian-Irish songwriter/producer Sam R, and French-American songwriter Charles Pinel. With broad influences, their music fuses influences from pop, dance and new wave.

First connecting over their love for a Grizzly Bear record, they decided to begin writing music together during a weekend at Latitude Festival in the UK back in 2012. After dipping in and out of various music projects in NYC, Glassio was born in 2015.

Citing Talking Heads, Christine & the Queens and UK garage as the core inspirations behind the track, Glassio have found a niche with their indie-pop, house and R&B sounds which are flaunted on their new single “Back for More”. Despite being a song about unrequited love, the beat machine and use of the santoor give it an uplifting feel.

Following the release of new track 'Back for More', Joan have gained over 750k new playlist followers, taking their total to 816,167. Appearing on Spotify’s Indie Pop playlist, as well as the popular H&M in-store soundtrack, this track could be the soundtrack to your Bank Holiday shopping session (TalentAI).
