Tobe Nwigwe sends out positive self-love vibes on his soulful new single "I'M DOPE"
There are certain artists who have boundless creative energy – Tobe Nwigwe is one of these artists. The Houston native has released two full-length albums in the past 12 months, along with seven singles that have yet to make an appearance on a project. Nwigwe brings along gospel singer David Michael Wyatt on his most recent offering, “I’M DOPE.”
Tobe Nwigwe has gained 3,159,985 playlist followers this week
While “I’M DOPE” may sound similar to your typical R&B love song, Nwigwe takes the slow jam stereotype and flips it on its head, preaching of self-love and acceptance while name-dropping his famous fans, including Dave Chappelle and Erykah Badu. The track was added to New Music Friday in the US and France and the artist has gained over 1,400 new Spotify followers since. This 8% increase takes his total follower count to over 18,000 (Instrumental Music Scouting Platform).
