In February 2017, Jordan Heaney, wrote and recorded a song as a Valentine’s Day gift to his girlfriend. Posting “Cuz You’re My Girl” on Soundcloud under the moniker of Yung Heazy, the track quickly went viral, picking up millions of streams.

Yung Heazy has just dropped his highly anticipated debut LP and is set to head out on an extensive six week North American tour. A multi-instrumentalist, Heaney plays all instruments on the record and has also mixed everything himself. Drawing comparisons to the likes of Mac Demarco and other bedroom pop gems such as Rex Orange County and Cuco, Yung Heazy’s debut has been extremely well received.

Picking up features on five influential playlists including New Music Friday Canada, Bedroom Pop and Psyche Pop & Surf Rock, Yung Heazy has enjoyed a 168% increase in playlist following this week, taking his total to over 400,000 (Instrumental’s A&R Scouting Platform).
